Who owns the website if I pay $0 upfront?
Our clients love our website “lease” model. It allows you to pay $0 upfront for a proven website from RVers who understand the campground and RV park industry, plus the responsibility to maintain the website stays with us so we can build a long-term and profitable relationship with you.
You may be able to “own” a website if you hire someone to build it custom from scratch, but that will cost thousands of dollars up front, and you’ll get someone who is not an RVers guessing about what RVers are looking for when searching for a campground…PLUS you’ll still be paying monthly service fees to maintain and host that custom website.
If you choose to end your service, the website remains the property of CampgroundWebsites.com
Like any other utility service (insurance, electric, phone, etc) your website is a service for the time you choose to keep it. Like there’s nothing to take away when you switch insurance companies (for instance) there isn’t anything to walk away with at the end of your website service.
At the end of your service agreement, if you choose to move to another website designer, you’ll be able to take your website address with you (but our goal is to provide such great service that you won’t want to consider leaving).
Are there any other fees outside of my website package?
There are no other fees to run your website.
To get technical for just a moment, your website service package includes

- 60 minutes of design time per month from our design team (as needed)

Booking software: Some clients choose to use an online booking software for their campground.
If you choose to go that route, you’ll pay the booking software for their service, and we can link your website to any software on the market.

Ever have that feeling that you should be posting on your campground social media account, but you’re not sure what to post?
Our design team creates social media graphics that will spark conversation and engagement for your social media pages.
Each month, you’ll receive an email that includes 50 social media graphics. Choose the ones that you think will resonate with your campers and post one per day on your social media channels.
Will my website show up in Google? Is SEO Included?
SEO (meaning Search Engine Optimized) is creating your website content in a way that Google knows how to show your website to visitors who are looking for a campground in your area.
All of our websites are optimized to speak to Google and connect you with visitors who are looking for a campground in your area.
If this is your first website, it can take about 60-90 days to Google to figure out what you’re about and get you in front of the right people, so give yourself a bit of time before Grand Opening to let Google know you’re open for business.
How long does it take to build a campground website?
Once you’ve completed our new client information form and sent your photos, your first proof will be ready for review in a week and we’ll can take your website live in the next week.
Based on your availability to send photos and review your website, we can be live in about 2 weeks.
How do I get started on my new Campground Website?
Our goal is to make this process as simple as possible for you.
Step 1: Complete the “Get Started” form below and we’ll be in contact shortly.
Step 2: Complete the “New Client” form – It takes about 10 minutes to provide all of the information we need like your address, office hours, and rates.
Step 3: Send your photos (we’ll send you a link where you can upload your campground pictures – a local real estate photographer is a great way to get pictures that will SELL YOUR CAMPGROUND)
Step 4: Review your new website for accuracy, and then we’ll take it live.
Step 5: Jumpstart your new website with the “Website Launch Checklist” we provide to all of our clients.
Step 6: Let us know when you have an update for your Campground or RV Park website. Launching your website isn’t the end of our involvement; it’s just the beginning. We’re always here to help service your website, update your website, and keep it running in peak condition behind-the-scenes.
